Are you looking for a digital guest guide for your property and torn between LivretDigital and Majordia? Both start for free. The difference lies elsewhere: the number of languages, the number of properties, what is included in the free plan, and what you want to offer your guests.
We are the publisher of Majordia, so this article is not neutral, and we say so up front. To keep it honest, all the LivretDigital figures come from its public pages read on October 18, 2026 (pricing page and home page), the Majordia figures come from our pricing page, and we point out where LivretDigital does better than we do. To place both against the tool you already have for free, we also cite Airbnb's house manual tool and the Help Center article on check-in and checkout instructions.

What is a digital guest guide?
A digital guest guide is a page, opened with a link or a code to scan, that gathers the Wi-Fi, access, house rules and good addresses. Airbnb has a tool of this kind itself: according to its Resource Center, the house manual lets you give step-by-step instructions and tell guests where to find the important things; you create it once and guests view it from the app. Airbnb advises starting with the Wi-Fi password.
On the Airbnb listing, the Help Center states that detailed check-in instructions are only shown 48 hours before the stay; a guide link, on the other hand, can be sent as soon as the booking is made (this is our reading). A guide that is independent of the platform has another benefit: it works with all your booking channels. LivretDigital writes that its guide is accessible by link or QR code whatever the channel, and Majordia works the same way. You can also read our Airbnb guest guide.
What does each free plan include?
LivretDigital offers a free plan for 1 property with 5 sections per guide, a gallery of 3 photos, French and English, a shareable QR code, and centralized Déclaloc and DPE information. Majordia offers the Essential (free, add-ons à la carte) offer: a guide with no sign-up and no credit card, with 6 essential sections (Wi-Fi, access, arrival and departure, contact, emergencies, weather), and a printable PDF with a scan code, editable without reprinting.
| LivretDigital (Free) | Majordia (Essential) | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | €0 | €0 |
| Properties | 1 | 1 |
| Sections | 5 per guide | 6 essential sections |
| Languages | French + English | Guide in six languages (fr, en, de, es, it, nl) |
| QR code | Yes, shareable | Yes, with printable PDF |
| Credit card / sign-up | No credit card (home page) | No sign-up or card for the guide |
The two offers are not strictly comparable: LivretDigital generates a first draft with AI from the property's address (this is its main selling point); Majordia bets on a simple guide, with no account, that you then complete with add-ons.
How much do the paid plans cost?
LivretDigital charges a fixed price per plan: Pro at €15/month for 5 properties (€12.50/month billed annually, i.e. €150 per year), and Agency at €49/month for 15 properties (€37.50/month billed annually, i.e. €450 per year). Majordia charges per property in the Particulier plan and per tier in the Pro plan. Majordia's prices come from our pricing page and our app.
| LivretDigital | Majordia | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry-level paid plan | Pro: €15/month for 5 properties (€150/year billed annually) | Particulier: €4.50/month for 1 property, then €3/month per extra property, up to 4 |
| Plan for 5 properties | Pro: €15/month | Pro: €14.50/month with 5 properties included, then €2/month per extra property |
| 15 properties | Agency: €49/month (€450/year) | Pro: see calculation below |
| Commitment / trial | No commitment, 14-day money-back guarantee | One-month trial on paid plans, credit card optional |
Majordia calculation based on our monthly prices: 4 properties on the Particulier plan cost €4.50 + 3 × €3 = €13.50/month; 15 properties on the Pro plan cost €14.50 + 10 × €2 = €34.50/month. With annual payment, our prices show €145.80 per year for 4 properties on the Particulier plan. At LivretDigital, the annual Pro plan works out to €150 per year for 5 properties. The gaps are therefore small at 4 or 5 properties; they matter mostly when you have a single property (free at both) or a lot of properties.
Be careful: these plans do not include the same things (see below). A lower price says nothing about value.
Where LivretDigital does better
LivretDigital goes further than Majordia on several points, according to its home page:
- Languages: 11 languages with the Pro plan, versus six at Majordia (French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch); for a very international clientele, this is a real advantage;
- Administrative tracking: centralized Déclaloc number and DPE, a 120/90-day nights counter and a guest register depending on the plan;
- AI generation: a first draft of the guide generated from the address, which speeds up getting started;
- Property condition report: timestamped photos with a SHA-256 fingerprint and GPS position, presented as a file in case of a deposit dispute;
- Fixed price: a single price per plan, whether you publish 1 or 5 properties.
We have not tested these features: we are repeating what LivretDigital announces on its pages.
Where Majordia does better
Majordia is more focused on guest service and stay management. According to our pricing page:
- A guide with no sign-up: the Essential guide is created without an account, with a PDF and a scan code, before any commitment;
- Paid services: the host can sell extras (late checkout, cleaning, transfers) collected through Stripe; Majordia takes 2% on these services, on top of Stripe fees;
- Connected bookings: the Particulier and Pro plans connect to Airbnb and Booking.com (Vrbo coming soon);
- AI assistant: Majord'IA is included in the Particulier and Pro plans, and costs €1.99/month on the Essential offer.
If you don't need these services, the advantage disappears. For an information-only guide, both work fine.
Which guide for which type of host?
The right choice depends on what you want to do with the guide:
| Your situation | What matters in the choice |
|---|---|
| 1 property, zero budget | Both free plans are enough. LivretDigital generates a first text with AI; Majordia doesn't ask for an account for the guide |
| 1 to 4 properties, French-speaking guests | Prices are close (€13.50/month at Majordia for 4 properties, €15/month at LivretDigital for 5); look mostly at the features you want |
| Many foreign guests | LivretDigital announces 11 languages with Pro, Majordia 6: check that your languages are covered |
| You want to sell extras and import bookings from a platform | Majordia, for paid services and the Airbnb or Booking.com (Vrbo coming soon) connection |
| You want to track Déclaloc, DPE and the nights cap | LivretDigital highlights these tracking tools; obligations depend on your municipality, so check for your situation |
| 5 to 15 properties | Compare using the calculation above: €34.50/month at Majordia for 15 properties, €49/month at LivretDigital (Agency) |

How can you test both without risk?
Create the free guide at both with the same information, then view it on your phone like a guest would. Check three things: the time it takes to be ready, your guests' language, and how clear the Wi-Fi and access instructions are. When you switch to a paid plan, LivretDigital gives you a 14-day money-back guarantee, and Majordia a one-month trial on paid plans, credit card optional.
If you only have one property, try the guide with no sign-up first: Majordia's guest guide generator creates a PDF guide and its phone version without an account.

FAQ
Is LivretDigital really free?
Yes for one guide: the pricing page lists a free plan for 1 property, with 5 sections, 3 photos, French and English, and a QR code. The 11 languages, the AI chatbot, PDF export and the nights counter are in the Pro plan.
Is Majordia free without a credit card?
The Essential offer is free: the guide (6 sections, PDF and scan code) is created with no sign-up and no credit card. Add-ons (Majord'IA, extra tiles, paid services) are added à la carte with a Majordia account.
Which is cheaper for 4 or 5 properties?
At Majordia, 4 properties on the Particulier plan cost €13.50/month (calculated from our prices); at LivretDigital, the Pro plan costs €15/month for 5 properties, or €150 per year. The gap is small and the features differ: compare what you will actually use.
Which guide offers the most languages?
LivretDigital announces 11 languages with the Pro plan, versus six at Majordia. If your guests mostly come from countries outside those six languages, check the list before you commit.
Does the guide work with Airbnb and Booking?
Yes at both: the guide opens with a link or a scan code, whatever the booking channel. Majordia also lets you connect Airbnb and Booking.com (Vrbo coming soon) in the paid plans.
Can I switch guides later?
Yes: a guide is content that you copy over. Keep your texts (Wi-Fi, access, house rules) in a separate file so you can reuse them. Print a new scan code if you change tools.
A comparison, then a test on your property
Both tools start for free: it's the best way to choose. Create your guide with the free guest guide generator, then discover the Essential (free, add-ons à la carte) offer and the other plans on the Pricing page; the full comparison details other tools.
