  1. Multi-language guidebook per room or floor
  2. Menus, breakfast, late checkout
  3. Team dashboard

In a boutique hotel, aparthotel, or vacation rental, the paper binder on the room desk is no longer enough. Your international guests want breakfast hours, the room service menu, and spa guidelines in their own language—without having to call the front desk at midnight. Majordia replaces the static in-room directory with a seamless digital guest experience that’s branded to your property and can be updated in just a few clicks from the dashboard.

A QR code or QR code in the guest room opens a premium web page: a directory of services, photo menus, late checkout reservations, collection of Google or Booking reviews, and the Majord'IA assistant powered by the content of your guest booklet. The front desk focuses on providing a personalized welcome; the guest booklet handles repetitive information and generates on-site paid services. Boutique hotels, aparthotels, tourist residences, and multi-site groups all share the same modular approach.

Classroom Directory Without a Binder: Services, Schedules, and Contacts

The Majordia Room Directory brings together everything a guest needs to know within the first ten minutes: guest Wi-Fi, reception hours, air conditioning instructions, useful phone numbers, and floor plans. Each piece of information is displayed as a visual tile, automatically translated into the browser’s language. Travelers no longer need to flip through a binder or call room 9 to find out if breakfast is served until 10 a.m.

Unlike a printed PDF or a QR code that links to a generic website, the Majordia booklet is unique to each room, floor, or building, depending on your organization. You update a pool schedule or the daily menu, and it goes live immediately—no more reprints or outdated binders in the cabinets.

Independent hotels can enhance their premium image without investing in a costly proprietary app. Travelers experience modern hotel service comparable to that of chains that have been digitizing their guest experience for years. In just one afternoon, you can replace the room information binders—which are expensive to print and become obsolete as soon as a spa schedule changes—with this solution.

Menus, dining, and additional in-room sales

Continental breakfast, Sunday brunch, room service, pool bar, spa, and beauty treatments: create as many offerings as your establishment provides. Each menu item is a tile featuring photos, allergens, hours, and prices. Guests can browse and order without having to call the front desk back and forth—which is convenient when they’re still in their bathrobes or don’t speak the staff’s language.

Late check-in, room upgrades, minibar items, and partner activities are sold online via Stripe. You approve requests from the dashboard; revenue from these additional sales appears in your statistics. Boutique hotels and aparthotels increase their average transaction value without hiring additional front desk staff.

To learn more about sales strategy, our article on the digital hotel and campground guide explains how to organize sections on dining, activities, and on-site services based on your business. City break aparthotels mainly sell late check-out and breakfast packages; resort hotels promote spa services, excursions, and room upgrades with ocean views.

Multilingual, Reviews, and Online Reputation

International guests account for a growing share of hotel revenue. Majordia displays the guest guide and Majord'IA in the traveler’s language—French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, and more—without having to manually translate each tile for every stay. A Japanese or Scandinavian guest can immediately understand the instructions for the spa, parking, and room service.

The "Reviews" tile directs travelers to Google, Booking, or TripAdvisor at the right moment during their stay—after a positive experience, not during a rushed checkout. You can boost your average rating ethically, without pestering the customer. The built-in guestbook also collects private feedback before it’s published publicly.

Majord'IA answers questions about schedules, amenities, and services based on your content. At night and on weekends, when front desk staff are limited, travelers can manage on their own—fewer calls to the switchboard, higher perceived satisfaction. Unusual requests are escalated to Conversations for prompt human assistance.

Multi-location and PMS Integrations

Hotel groups and aparthotel chains manage multiple locations from a single management dashboard: shared template books, duplication by property, team roles (management, front desk, rates manager), and aggregated statistics. A change to the breakfast menu at the pilot property is replicated with a single click across the other hotels in the network.

OTAs (Airbnb, Booking, Abritel) for both Individual and Pro plans; nine PMS systems via the Connection Assistant or direct links to Guesty and Beds24 in the Pro plan. The report updates automatically when a reservation is made—no double entry required. Pricing managers track revenue from paid services by property and by room type.

One-month free trial at your pilot property: Test the room directory in about ten rooms, measure the reduction in repeat calls and the upsell conversion rate before a full rollout. The return on investment is often achieved within a few weeks, based on time saved at the front desk and in-room extras sold.

The Benefits for Your Institution

  1. Streamlined front desk: schedules, Wi-Fi, and instructions available in guest rooms—fewer repetitive calls to the front desk.
  2. Paid online services: room service, late check-out, and extras sold via Stripe through the guidebook.
  3. Premium multilingual image: a branded room directory, perceived as a true five-star hotel service.
  4. Multi-property management: a dashboard, room-level statistics, and PMS integrations for hotel groups.

Frequently asked questions

Which hotel PMS systems are compatible?
Nine PMS systems via the Connection Assistant (Pro Plan): Guesty, Lodgify, Smoobu, Beds24, BookingSync, Hospitable, Hostaway, iGMS, OwnerRez. Direct links to Guesty and Beds24 are also available in the Pro plan. OTAs (Airbnb, Booking, Abritel): Individual and Pro plans. You retain control over the content of the booklet.
One booklet per room or per facility?
Both models work: one booklet per room for maximum customization (room number, ocean view, floor), or one booklet per floor/room type to simplify maintenance in large hotels. Serviced apartments often opt for one booklet per apartment with instructions specific to that unit.
Is the booklet really multilingual?
Yes. The content on the tiles and in Majord'IA adapts to the language of the traveler’s browser. You write in French; the translation covers the main languages spoken by tourists. This is ideal for British, German-speaking, or Nordic customers without having to hire multilingual staff at the front desk.
Can we collect Google reviews from the booklet?
Yes. The "Reviews" tile redirects users to Google, Booking, TripAdvisor, or your internal guestbook at the point in the guest journey that you choose—often the day before departure, when the experience is still fresh and positive.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, you get one month to test the system at your property. Choose between the Lite Plan, Personal Plan, or Pro Plan depending on the number of active rooms; QR codes are included with paid activation. Start with a pilot floor before rolling out the system company-wide.
